ER_TRUNCATED_WRONG_VALUE_FOR_FIELD: Incorrect string value

Mac系统下mysql报错:ER_TRUNCATED_WRONG_VALUE_FOR_FIELD: Incorrect string value

这种原因是mysql字符集编码导致。

  1. 查看 mysql 字符集编码
    进入mysql,终端执行
    $ mysql -u root -p
    登录成功后在mysql中执行
    $ show variables like '%character%';

mysql> show variables like '%character%';

错误就是这个character_set_server |latin1导致的,下面进行修改。

  1. 修改配置 my.cnf
    进入路径:
    $ cd /usr/local/mysql/support-files/
    或快捷键 command + shift + g 快速进入目录
    查看是否存在文件my.cnf
  • 存在 my.cnf
    修改内容:

character-set-server = utf8
collation-server = utf8_general_ci
init_connect = 'SET NAMES utf8'

保存后,重启 mysql 生效

  • 不存在 my.cnf
  1. 终端命令直接创建:
    $ cd /etc && sudo vim my.cnf 键盘键入 i后,insert编辑模式下,复制粘贴本文末配置脚本(修改项如上),键盘顺序键入 esc退出编辑模式,英文:wq!,强制保存退出。重启mysql

  2. 快捷键 command + shift + g 快速进入目录 /etc ,手动创建my.cnf文件,修改内容保存退出,重启mysql。

  3. 修改后验证字符集编码
    进入mysql 执行 $ show variables like '%character%';

验证生效。

  1. 未生效查看此处
    未生效原因:
    在 mysql 中,是允许存在多个 my.cnf 配置文件的,有的能对整个系统环境产生影响,例如:/etc/my.cnf。有的则只能影响个别用户,例如:~/.my.cnf。
    mysql 读取各个 my.cnf 配置文件的先后顺序是:

/usr/local/mysql/etc/my.cnf
~/.my.cnf

解决方案:
为了简单,便于查找,将 etc 目录下的 my.cnf 文件复制至路径 /usr/local/mysql/etc/my.cnf 下,并将原ect目录下my.cnf文件删除,即可。其它路径也可以,注意顺序

数据库右键 – 编辑连接 – 常规 – 编码 – 设置为‘自动’
